It’s been a whirlwind of events as we close out our 50th year celebrations. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth or popped into one of our offices this fall. If you weren’t able to be with us in person, here’s a recap of where we’ve been recently and the memories we’ve made.
The PLASA Show in London kicked off our fall tradeshows, running September 7-9. Attendees were able to get their hands on the recently launched F-Drive RX centralized LED driver system, the next-generation of Hog consoles, ETC SiteLink, and the latest ETC fixtures, including the ColorSource V family and automated lights Halcyon, Ministar, and Zeo. Following the second day of the PLASA show, ETC hosted an open house event at their new building in Greenford, London.

Keeping the momentum in October
A flurry of shows dominated October with Theatre Fest in Texas, CineGear in Atlanta, Georgia, and IAAPA in Orlando, Florida.
The ETC office in Orlando hosted a student-only party during IAAPA and welcomed nearly 100 guests for an evening of food, fun, and, of course, lighting demos.
November in Paris
Moving into November, ETC Paris took on a multi-space event during JTSE. Running not only the main booth, but also a meeting space for clients, console demos, and two black box spaces for demos of other Hog, Eos, Halcyon, MegaPix & GigaPix, and many other High End Systems fixtures.
An after-show party at the ETC office included a museum exhibit of 50 years of ETC products and history.

December to remember
The Cruise Ship Interiors show in early December was closely followed by one of ETC’s largest shows of the year, LDI in Las Vegas.
The 50th anniversary LDI showing featured a lounge, product museum, and an hourly moving light show with an impressive number of new Dataflash 5000 and MegaPix/GigaPix fixtures in the rig. The booth also included Eos Expansion Processing, ETC SiteLink, and first-time-to-LDI products, New Hog and Prodigy Balance.
A clear highlight of the show was Prodigy Balance's win of Best Debuting Product in the Staging and Rigging category. Rebecca Knipfer, Rigging Product Manager, also presented during the “New Technology Breakfast.”
Programmers used New Hog hardware during Battle of the Busk with team Flying Pixies - winning the “Most Unique” category. Shown below are team programmers Isabel Delnado and Nate Doyong. Not shown are Flying Pixies video buskers Markus Martinez and Pui Leung.
David Lincecum, Vice President of International Operations, presented Dealing With Substance Misuse In The Workplace – Why And How To Help Your Colleagues. And Senior Product Manager (Hog consoles) Sarah Clausen presented Intuitive Control For Creative Minds: The New Hog Family From ETC.
It’s been a memorable year for products, history, and celebrations around the world. Thank you to everyone who came out to talk with us, see a demo, or just to say hello! We’ll see you again in the new year as we kick off the next 50 years.
