ETC Gets Show-Ready for LDI, IAAPA, CSI, and JTSE

Before we say goodbye to 2024, ETC made its rounds at several industry trade shows to share the latest innovations from ETC. In case you missed out on any of the action, we’re providing a recap of the events that took us to Las Vegas, Orlando, London, and Nantes, France!

Making Moves at LDI

Fresh for the LDI booth, visitors got to demo the brand new High End Systems Zeo. This genre-defying automated fixture can serve as a blinder, strobe, beam, wash, or effect light. Zeo got to show off its moves on stage during the Battle of the Busk event, along with SolaPix Fan 8. Attendees completed hands-on training leading up to the big Battle of the Busk competition on Sunday evening, with one of the teams, The Busky Bs, programming on a Hog console (with lighting by Brittany Motkowicz and Brittney Baker, video by Jesse Scott, and Hog training from Patrick Hayes).

Visitors also got to preview ETC SiteLink, an always-on, cloud-based monitoring solution for lighting and rigging control systems. Be the first to know when SiteLink is live by signing up on our website.

As always, Eos, Hog, and rigging demos were a popular request on the ETC booth. Our fixture area was stacked with fan favorites such as affordable ColorSource solutions, Desire Fresnel, Source 4WRD retrofit options, and Source Four LED Series 3. Over in moving lights, Zeo, Halcyon Silent, SolaPix Fan 8, and Ministar made their first appearances at LDI, while Halcyon Titanium and Lonestar returned as sought-after automated solutions.

LDI also offered an opportunity for students and mentors from the Fred Foster Student Mentorship Program to gather for a meet-and-greet in the ETC booth. See some of the familiar faces in the group photo above!

IAAPA 2024

Park-Inspired Solutions at IAAPA

Over in Orlando, the ETC team showed off our latest lighting and control solutions, ready for themed environments. In the world of control, many attendees got a look at how Paradigm offers comprehensive park-wide control, while Mosaic flawlessly manages color control of attraction interiors and exteriors.

Of course, parks need something to power it all. The intuitive F-Drive LED driver from ETC as well as the sleek Eos Apex Processor made an appearance at IAAPA to cover the power needs for themed environments.

For lighting needs in park lobbies, retail areas, and attractions, an array of ETC fixtures were available to demo. ArcSystem Navis, Source Four Mini, Irideon, and Hyperstar were all shining brightly on the IAAPA booth.

Cruising to CSI Design Expo Europe

ETC's maritime solutions also made an appearance at Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe during our busy trade show season. The F-Drive LED driver fits right into cruise ships, making a ship's power supplies readily accessible from the convenience of an electrical room or cabinet. Visitors also got to see the modular ArcSystem Navis luminaires, which pair perfectly with F-Drive.

The ETC booth also shined bright with Irideon, Source Four Mini, and ArcSystem Pro fixtures. Additionally, the ETC team was ready to give demos of EchoTouch for compact, stylish, and intuitive touchscreen control on ships.

The Cruise Ship Interiors Awards (CSI Awards), was a highlight of the show, honoring the pinnacle of cruise design excellence. ETC would like to congratulate MRD Lighting for winning Guest Experience Tech of the Year for the Lighting Design on Sun Princess, Princess Cruises. Sun Princess’s central Piazza incorporates approximately 300 universes of DMX data to deliver a pixel controlled, fully immersive lighting environment. ETC Mosaic is integral to the control system, helping blend the traditional white light and dynamic lighting elements in the space. Learn more about the installation here.

A Jam-Packed JTSE

ETC’s JTSE booth was packed with lighting products and people throughout the show. Ministar, SolaPix Fan 8, Halcyon Silent, ColorSource Fresnel V, Eos, and Hog are just some of the ETC solutions that were featured on our stand.

ETC also hosted a JTSE After Show Party that quickly filled up on registration. Perhaps inspired by our LDI travel plans, the party was themed Las Vegas! We couldn’t let our guests leave without some (temporary) new ETC ink.

Thank you to all our staff, customers, friends, and fans who made every show a smashing success!
