It was another action-packed show for ETC at LDI 2023! Our booth featured the latest ETC solutions, including conventional fixtures, moving lights, consoles, rigging, and much more. Here is a quick recap of what we were up to in Las Vegas.
Moving Lights Shine, Including Hyperstar Debut
Attendees had plenty of moving fixtures to demo on the stand. Halcyon Gold, Halcyon Titanium, and Halcyon Platinum fixtures drew in the crowds with bold beams, brilliant colors, and a full library of aerials, rotational effects, and breakups. We also can't forget the "stars" of the ETC booth. Fan favorite Lonestar was joined by its new partner, Hyperstar, providing maximum performance from mid-sized fixtures.
Battle of the Busk Competition Heats Up with Hog
ETC sponsored the spectacular Battle of the Busk event, where attendees completed hands-on training leading up to the big Battle of the Busk competition on Sunday evening. The team working on Full Boar 4 won the award for "Most Creative" after receiving training from Lighting Programmer and Designer Patrick Hayes. Congrats to the lighting team (Daniel Salazar & Lilly Pierce) as well as the video team (Brian Rotschild & Cody Luketic)!
ETC in Control
Attendees got hands-on with Eos and Hog consoles in the ETC booth. On the Eos side, we had a [Sneak] preview of our upcoming Eos distributed processing system. Hog lovers got to see upcoming software that completely revamps the color system for the entire Hog family.
fos/4 Family Expands
Brand new fos/4 Fresnel 5-inch and 10-inch options were available to demo on the LDI stand. With these additions, users have more choices than ever before when selecting a camera-ready fixture. Beyond the fos/4 family, the ETC team also showed off Source Four LED Series 3, ColorSource V, and Source 4WRD Color fixtures.
