ETC and Korean dealer, C&C Lightway, were invited by Busan Cinema Center to organize a product demonstration seminar on October 25. The Busan Cinema Center is the exclusive venue for the largest film event in Asia, the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
Korea hosted the first BIFF in September of 1996 as a way to introduce new films and first-time directors from Asian countries. Because the festival draws a large, youthful audience, it has turned into a key event for developing and promoting young talent.
Busan Cinema Center is also known as “Dureraum.” This Korean word means “to enjoy watching movies together.”
The event included a well-received, hands-on demo of Eos Augment3d as well as several additional ETC fixtures. These fixtures included the Source Four LED Series 3, fos/4 Panel, Source 4WRD series, and SolaPix. The audience was invited to share ideas with the C&C product experts and have a fruitful discussion. “It’s an excellent seminar. I especially like the product demonstration session because I can see the real brightness and color of the fixtures, which can only be obtained from this kind of face-to-face event,” said one of the participants.
