Before joining ETC in 2018, Declan was a freelance lighting, set and projection designer. Declan worked as a designer for theatre, dance, opera and musicals, as well as working in film and television. He also designed numerous architectural projects ranging from hotels to retail and themed environments. Before relocating to the UK in 2009, Declan lived and worked in Johannesburg where he grew up. A passion for rollercoasters, restoring vintage film projectors and making custom cookie cutters keeps him busy when he is not pointing lights at things.
