Happy Pride Month from ETC

Written by Quinn Wirth | Jun 6, 2024 4:16:07 PM

During the month of June, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community while also advocating for their rights. At ETC, we recognize that LGBTQ+ folks have made countless contributions to our industry and within our company. In celebration of Pride, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ productions in our industry.

LGBTQ+ Theatre Productions

There is plenty of fantastic LGBTQ+ produced theatre to enjoy in the world. Below, we’ve compiled a list of some of the groups that are focused on queer artistry.

  • Diversionary Theatre is located in San Diego and aims to amplify the diverse voices of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities
  • Emerald Theatre Company produces works dealing with sometimes controversial issues that would not ordinarily be produced by conventional theaters in the Memphis area, often focusing on the realities faced by the LGBTQ+ communities.
